Korean-Japanese joint-venture SPM Auto Parts opens plant in Escobedo, Nuevo Leon

Korean-Japanese joint-venture SPM Auto Parts opened a new production plant at Vynmsa industrial park in Escobedo, Nuevo Leon.

Korean firms Sunil dyfas and Pung Kang, along with Japanese Mizuno, invested US$ 18 million and hired 200 workers to manufacture 13 million pieces a month such as bolts, screws, fasteners and other cold forging products in a 7,000 square feet facility.

SPM will supply to automotive clients all over Mexico, including Kia, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Honda and General Motors.
