Ford expects to open plant in January

The plant Ford is building at the industrial park Castro del Rio, in Irapuato, Guanajuato, is about to be completed and it could be inaugurated in January 2017, pointed out Guillermo Romero Pacheco, head of the Ministry of Sustainable Economic Development. The latest reports affirm that the plant is almost finished, the staff has received training and due to logistics adjustments, it is soon to open at the beginning of next year. “We thought the inauguration could probably happen in December, but it is likely to occur until January, this is a great investment on a transmissions factory for this city (...) I say so because those were the deadlines set initially and this is a very relevant investment”, said Mr. Romero.
