Besides the increased European participation in the Mexican aerospace industry, particularly through The French Connection, specialists forecast a considerable increase of Mexican companies in the sector, which could register up to 50 firms in 2020. But the quality, the volume and financial limitations have prevented potential SMEs providers from getting contracts with automotive, electronics and medical export firms, although things seem a whole different for the aerospace industry. There are distinguished companies such as Especialistas en Turbopartes, a company that manufactures supports that are components in the disembarking system of different Boeing models; Volare, an engineering company that designs and manufactures furniture for passenger airplanes; and Soisa, a seat cover producer which is planning to produce 20% of all new cover seats for airplanes around the world.
