Air cargo on the rise in Guadalajara, AIQ and Tijuana

Airports in Guadalajara, Queretaro, Tijuana and Hermosillo closed the January-November 2016 period with increased traffic records, said the General Direction of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC).  The Guadalajara airport had cargo traffic peak at 137,475 tons, that is 11.17% more than the 123,659 tons it had the prior year. Queretaro's Intercontinental Airport (AIQ) reached 22,414 tons, which generated growth rates of 10.17% compared to the previous year. While Tijuana reported figures up by 17.3% with a 19,352 tons add-up; and Hermosillo had a 7.8% increase, accumulating 8,069 tons.
