The Entrepreneurial Coordination Council (CCE) is positive that Mexico will attain FDI records over US$25 billion this year, with or without NAFTA renegotiation, hence asking for the support of the National Conference of Governors (CONAGO) to promote capital inflow and strengthening the internal economy. Mexico obtained FDI worth US$19.77 billion from January to September 2016. Juan Pablo Castañon, President of CCE, and Graco Ramirez, President of CONAGO, informed that a joint agenda to support the austerity measures in Mexico's National expense plan, while promoting employment and domestic investment, will be presented in mid-February.
