FDI for aerospace equipment up by 170% in Queretaro

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) for aerospace equipment manufacturing in Queretaro, which amounted to US$989.7 million during the 1999 – 2016 period, recorded an annualized increase of 171% during 2016, according to information from the Ministry of Economy. The highest investment inflow rates were reported in the years 2008, with US$231.1 million; 2009, with US$211.2 million; and 2010, with US$256.4 million, when companies like Bombardier and Safran became established in the State.
