Aguascalientes, future powerhouse of the aerospace industry in Mexico

According to the Ministry of Economy, Mexico had participation of 45,000 professionals of the aeronautic industry during 2016, peaking at an annual growth record of 14%. Aguascalientes has recently joined this sector, thus becoming the third main export market in the State, generating income of up to US$260 million per year. The potential of Aguascalientes and other states from the zone might increase in the upcoming years, as Guanajuato has already built its first aerospace park, to generate opportunities for investment and expansion for companies at El Bajio.
