Queretaro attracted five investment projects worth US$33 million in total, for the automotive and aerospace industries, thus implying the creation of 1,700 jobs. Among the confirmed investment, there are automotive projects by Prettl and Visscher Caravelle; and Albany International, Duqueine and CPI, from the aerospace industry. Albany International will invest US$11 million, Duqueine will double the installed capacity in its Queretaro plant, CPI will establish an Engineering Service Center for the aerospace and automotive industries, with investment valued at US$277,700. Prettl and Visscher Caravelle will invest US$8 and US$2.7 million, respectively, for new plants.
