The Guanajuato Center of Apparel and Fashion Intelligence, VEMOG, will rise the textile industry's competitiveness. In this regard, Governor Marquez underscored that a US$ 265,000 investment was made to open the Center, which will provide training, technical assistance and aid competence development, as this zone is characterized by having 45% of employment within the apparel industry. Its objective is to improve the competitiveness standards in the local industry with a training program in design, cut, fabrics, dressmaking, knitting, finishing and machine programming.
