Nuevo Leon captures FDI valued at US6.7 billion

The Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) announced by corporations during the current administration in Nuevo Leon, adds up to US$6.7 billion, and over 23,594 new jobs have been created, according to data from the Ministry of Economy and Labor (Sedet) in the State. Moreover, 154 new projects from the manufacture, automotive, energy, logistics, home appliances, information technologies, commerce and services sectors have arrived into the State so far, 21 months into the new government office. Thirty-eight new FDI projects have been recorded during the first semester of 2017, thus representing an amount of US$ 1.6 billion, with the creation of approximately 5,525 new direct jobs.
