This project started two years ago, with the engineering design, which was validated by faculty members of CENTA. The aircraft is currently in its manufacturing stage, with the production of molds and pieces, with assessment from European experts. The General Direction of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) authorized the flight tests of the first prototype (H1) made of the composite material and glass fiber, developed by Horizontec Corporation, departing from the Queretaro Intercontinental Airport (AIQ). CENTA and Horizontec Corporation are collaborating, additionally, for the design and manufacture of another experimental airplane, the H2.0 prototype, made from carbon fiber composite materials.
