Six months after it began operations, the Japanese manufacturer Moriroku Technology inaugurated its production facility located in Guanajuato Puerto Interior industrial park, where the company produces interior plastic components for Volkswagen.

Back in December 2015, Moriroku Technology broke ground to build the plant which started operations last March. During the ceremony, company officials revealed plans to invest US$ 20 million and the recruiting of 190 workers in order to begin its first phase of production.

The facility currently manufactures each day 800 sets of components for doors, instrument panels and air vents for the Volkswagen Tiguan.

According to the officials, an expansion is already in the works aimed to supply parts for Honda.
