Mexican air industry keeps growing

Mexico's aerospace sector has been experiencing exponential growth rates over the last decade. The number of companies established in this Country shifted from 109 to 330 from 2006 to 2016. In this reference period, exports from this industry had two-digit average annual growth rates, reaching income records over US$7 billion in 2016. The main export destinations of this industry are Germany, Canada, US and France. The Mexican aerospace sector recorded 11% growth rates during the last quarter of 2016 and it is the most productive sector in this Country, with US$980 million distributed among the total number of Companies dedicated to manufacturing aerospace equipment.
