German manufacturer Mann+Hummel opens its second plant in Queretaro

The Mann+Hummel Group, a German manufacturing company specialized in filtration components, inaugurated its second plant in Queretaro and third overall in Mexico.

The company invested US$ 15 million and recruited 150 workers to start up operations at the Queretaro Industrial Park. By the end of year total workforce at the plant will double, state government officials said in a statement.

Mann+Hummel plans to manufacture 15 million filters a year at the new facility. Other production sites are located in Queretaro and Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila.
