The Nissan NP300 Frontier version produced at the CIVAC plant in Cuernavaca, Mexico has been recognized again, now as the "Best Pick Up" at the prestigious "The Elegies" (Os Escolhidos) awards, organized by the specialized press in Brazil.

The unit was recognized for “the superiority of its capabilities on and off-road, engine performance and load capacity”. Also, the judges emphasized that the robust Pick Up offers a combination of practicality with “outstanding performance, comfort and technology”.

The Nissan NP300 Frontier pickup features a 166-horsepower engine and 178 lb-ft. of torque, a comfortable interior design, and a hill ascent and descent control, as well as a five-link rear suspension with rigid axle that reduces the oscillations caused by irregular terrain.

The unit has won several awards from the specialized press since it was launched in March 2016. The new pickup was considered the best in its class by "Car Magazine Brazil", as well as by the Brazilian edition of "Robb Report". It was also recognized by the "L'Auto Preferita", which brings together specialized journalists from all over Brazil.

With the latest award, Nissan NP300 Frontier has already been recognized eight times by the specialized press as the best pickup of the year. Those awards are: Abiauto, Auto Esporte, Carpress, Car Magazine Brazil, Robb Report, Los Elegidos, L'Auto Preferita and Car and Driver Brasil - 10Best.

Today the pickup is sold in 33 markets and is already the best-selling vehicle of the brand in South America.
