Companies from Portugal looking to invest in Nuevo Leon

Portugal's Ambassador in Mexico, Jorge Roza de Oliveira, visited Nuevo Leon to map out opportunities and become familiar with the business environment the state offers, with the purpose of exploring future investment projects for strategic sectors. Portuguese companies like Recicla 2000, Hidraulica and WLP Transitarios, are interested on identifying growth or commerce opportunities in the State, and hence have been conducting interviews with both providers and potential clients. Nuevo Leon is receiving product imports from Portugal worth roughly US$23.2 million, while exports add up to US$ 2.9 million, according to records from the 2017 January-October period, which supports the affirmation that there are huge growth opportunities awaiting in the region.
