The automotive company Hirschvogel Components Mexico inaugurated its new production plant located in San Juan del Rio, a municipality in the South of the state, with a US$ 53 million investment. From this new unit, the German origin Firm is planning to produce 1.5 million parts for transfer cases and CV joints this year, explained the CEO and president of Hirschvogel Components Mexico, Stephan Lutzenberger. The plant has two lines of complete presses with ascending and descending processes, as well as processing machines; it stands on 11.3 hectares, with buildings occupying 20,000 square meters for production space and 4,000 square meters for offices and common areas. It starts operations with 100 workers, but it is expected to have 250 employees by the end of 2019.
