Toyota reasserting its commitment to Mexico and North America

Through a press release, Toyota reiterated it is moving forward with the construction of its plant in Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato. The complex is scheduled to start operations by 2019. "In Mexico, Toyota continues with the construction of its plant in Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato, which will produce the Tacoma truck, in order to respond in a timely manner to the needs of the regional market that increasingly demands this type of vehicle. Tacoma's production at the Apaseo el Grande plant is adding up to the ongoing production at the Baja California plant," reads the statement.
