Guanajuato’s automotive cluster growing

State representatives that attend the 2018 industrial show in Hannover, have started to report results of their business meetings, such as the case of Guanajuato, communicating that the French Streit Groupe is going to install a plant soon. The company is planning to manufacture parts for vehicle engines in the municipality of Comonfort, although the State Government has not disclosed any figures of investment amounts as of yet. Officers also confirmed that German corporation Bosch is planning to build a factory in Celaya, valued at US$120 million. As previously reported, the Bosch plant will produce electronic components for luxury car brands, such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi and VW.
