The German manufacturer of luxury cars BMW announced that its plant in San Luis Potosi has already recruited 1,400 of the 1,500 employees it requires to start operations in the first half of 2019.

These last vacancies are mostly for technicians and engineers in the areas of Quality, Production, Mechatronics and Computing Science, although there are also some for Finance and Human Resources graduates.

Company officials told El Financiero that to fill these positions they are visiting universities in several states in order to integrate the "best team".

The US$ 1 billion plant will have production capacity of around 150,000 annual units of the 3 Series sedan that will be exported to 124 countries around the world.
