As a result of the agro-food markets’ diversification strategy, Mexico expects that by the end of 2019, at least US$35 billion will be reached in the commercialization of food exportation to other countries.

The bilateral relations applied by Mexico are a key element in this work plan, followed by a commercial mission of the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food that targets five nations of the Arabian Peninsula.

In a statement, the SAGARPA said that a total of 61 certified Mexican agro-food plants, that include meat and poultry, packers, canners and food processors serve this important Mexican food market.
