Aerospace exports grow in Mexico

México (2018-07-23). - Between 2007 and 2017, exports from the aerospace industry in Mexico grew at an average annual rate of 11.2%, bringing the last year to more than US$ 7 billion.

According to KPMG, Mexico is the most competitive country for the aerospace industry in the Americas.

Only in the country there are more than 330 companies in the aerospace sector. Of these, 72% are involved in manufacturing activities and 28% of them in design, engineering and maintenance and repair services. The main states that export in this sector are Baja California, Chihuahua, Querétaro and Nuevo León.
