The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that the rear-wheel-drive version of the Tesla Model 3 has earned a five-star rating, the highest score the agency can give.

Such rating is in line with the NHTSA test results of Tesla’s previous cars the Model X and Model S, which all earned top marks.

The crash test’s subcategories include frontal, side, and rollover crash ratings, but it doesn’t include any evaluation of Tesla’s driver assistance package Autopilot as the agency has not set up any kind of rating system for these features.

According to the Monroney sticker in most Model 3 units, 25% of the 10,000 unique parts in a Tesla Model 3 are manufactured in Mexico.
