With the opening of a new facility in Aguascalientes, Robert Bosch GmbH reached a staff of 17,000 associates in Mexico, recently announced Ricardo Silva Córdova, director of Human Resources for Mexico. Among these, he added, there are five Mexican executives who hold vice-president positions.

Interviewed by the state-owned news outlet Notimex during the inauguration of the new plant, Silva Córdova also said that there are also 94 Mexicans working in different countries abroad, of which 66 hold executive positions and 24 hold management positions. Of those 94 Mexican collaborators abroad, 25 are women, he said.

The executive explained that the five vice presidencies headed by Mexican personnel are located in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua; Mexicali, Baja California; Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes; Hermosillo, Sonora; and Celaya, Guanajuato.

Currently, Bosch Mexico operates 10 plants in the country and two engineering centers––one of which is located in Guadalajara and the other in San Luis Potosi––"which is proof of the enormous confidence that the company has in the country as a strategic place for their investments," Silva added.
