Aeromexico served 8.7% of passengers in September

In September 2018, Grupo Aeromexico transported 1.7 million passengers, an increase of 8.7% over 1.5 million users served in the same month last year.

According to its latest traffic report, the airline had an increase of 7.8% in demand, measured in passenger-kilometer transported (RPK). Meanwhile, the supply, in available seat-kilometer (ASK), increased by 7.2% year on year.

The company stressed that in the international market the number of passengers transported grew 5.1%, while in the domestic segment increased by 10.7%.

With respect to the accumulated of the year, the company mobilized 16.4 million passengers, 7.1% more compared to 15.3 million from January to September of the previous year.

While the segment of international flights continues to present the best results, as passengers served increased by 10.4%, according to the year-on-year performance of supply (+14.1% of ASK) and demand (+14.1% of RPK).
