Queretaro authorities open center of innovation for Industry 4.0

Authorities of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (Sedesu) of the state of Queretaro inaugurated the Productivity and Innovation Center for Industry 4.0 (Ceprodi-4.0), designed to promote innovation and technological development in the industry, particularly in the automotive and aerospace sectors.

The organization, located in the campus of the Technological University of Querétaro, is the result of a joint effort between Sedesu and the federal government, through the Prosoft Program.

The head of Sedesu, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, explained that Ceprodi-4.0 will offer training programs, consulting, modeling, simulation and project design, 3D printing, scanning, prototype development, digitization of process variables and KPIs, services of RFID for Internet of Things and suppliers networking.
