Iberia to expand flights to Mexico between April and June

From April to June of this year, Iberia will offer three daily flights between Mexico and Madrid, with its Airbus 340-600, with a capacity of 359 seats, distributed in business, premium tourist and tourist classes.

"Mexico thus becomes the Latin American market where Iberia offers more capacity, said the company in a statement.

It stressed that it will operate two daily flights, one of them with a departure from Mexico at 12:55 and the other that will operate at 20:25 hours. Additionally, the airline will offer a third flight at 15:55 which will operate on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays during April. During May, flights will be operated daily,except from Tuesdays and Thursdays, and in June it will operate every day.

In April, the company will operate 17 flights a week, 19 in May and three flights a day in June.

The Spanish airline said that these flights cover all time slots which facilitates connections on both sides of the Atlantic.

In Mexico, Iberia offers connections to 34 other cities such as Acapulco, Cancun, Ciudad Juarez, Monterrey or Veracruz, through the code-share agreement that the airline maintains with Interjet and includes group traffic.
