Trox Technik invest US$ 3.4 million to set up operations in Puebla

Trox Technik through its subsidiary Trox México will invest US$3.4 million to set up operations at the Vesta Park Puebla, an industrial complex located in the municipality of Huejotzingo, Puebla, industrial real estate developer Vesta announced on Thursday.

Trox’s first manufacturing operations in Mexico are slated to commence in April. According to the 5-year program, 140 job positions will be filled once the facility becomes fully operational.

The Germany-based company designs and manufactures air conditioning and filtering solutions, as well as fire and smoke protection products for commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, food processing and medical applications.

For that end, Trox signed a 5-year contract with Vesta for the lease of a 45,500 sq.-ft. facility.

Vesta Park Puebla comprises of a 1,304,000 sq.-ft. surface with 579,000 sq.-ft. of ready-to-lease footprint in three buildings. An additional 560,000 sq.-ft. green field is available for built-to-suit facilities at request of potential customers. 

The industrial real estate company has invested so far US$ 27.3 million in the development of the park.
