VERACRUZ — Grupo Moldtrans launched a maritime transport service between Spain and Mexico in collaboration with the Mexican firm Gain Soluciones Logísticas. This new maritime service is designed to facilitate the exchange of goods between the companies of both countries, whose economic relations have been reinforced in recent years.

According to a statement from the company, shipments are made between the ports of Valencia and Veracruz with an approximate transit time of 18 days.

Currently, Mexico has become the largest trading partner of Spain in Latin America, while our country is also the second largest Mexican commercial destination in the European Union.

According to the public entity ICEX, Spanish exports to Mexico exceeded in 2017 the US$5 billion, with an increase of 12.3% over the previous year. For its part, Spanish imports of Mexican products amounted to US$4.6 million, with an annual growth of 18%.

This new consolidated maritime transport service responds to the increase in demand from the exporting and importing companies of the two countries.

It is available in the modalities of fractional loading and groupage (LCL) directly with its own consolidation. The service provides customers with a competitive option to manage their shipments of goods to Europe and America through strategically located ports.
