Flex, a multi-sector contractor and manufacturer, is expanding in Aguascalientes. The company is investing US$65 million to increase 35% its current production capacity at manufacturing site, said Governor Martin Orozco Sandoval in a press conference.

The Governor explained he has been in contact with Oscar de la Parra Escandon, Flex vice president of Operations in Aguascalientes, who said the company will increase 15 production lines to accommodate new medical and industrial production.

This expansion will represent 240,000 square feet and 2,000 direct jobs. The jobs will be created in a 3-year period ending in 2022. Nowadays, Flex employs 5,000 people in Aguascalientes.

Flex manufactures a wide range of products for several industries, including industrial, medical, automotive, aeronautics, railroad, construction, and metal mechanics. Some of its products include hospital beds, security cameras, medical scanners, electronic cards, and complex assemblies.
