Aeroméxico will keep operating Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft

MEXICO — Aeromexico remains confident in operating the six Boeing 737 MAX 8 equipment it has, since these aircraft are in perfect conditions and in compliance with their maintenance programs.

According to the airline, the investigation and recommendations of the manufacturer and the aeronautical authorities will continue promptly, and for them, safety is the most important thing, so it will continue working always in that sense and under the highest international standards.

After the plane crash in Ethiopia, airlines from China, Mongolia, Indonesia and Ethiopia suspended the flights of the Boeing 737 MAX 8, until the US aerospace company responsible for its manufacture ensures the safety of aircraft.

Aeromexico deeply regretted too the crash of the ET302 flight of Ethiopian Airlines and expressed its solidarity with the relatives and friends of the victims of this tragic event, as well as with the entire team of the Ethiopian airline.
