BAJA CALIFORNIA The state of Baja California, where 92 companies of the 350 that exist in the country are located, is distinguished by the existence of specialized human resources in the aerospace industry, such is its strength in talent that exports young graduates of universities to the European and Asian continents. This is 17% of the 2,300 who graduate from educational institutions, who speak English and other languages.

 

This was reported by José López, undersecretary of Economic Promotion and Foreign Investment of the Baja California government.

 

In this entity, there are 54 universities and 48 technical schools where for three years now, we have been working with the dual system (a model of German education)

 

In addition, the local official spoke of the opportunities of this sector in the state and confirmed that the market of measurement and military equipment is growing, even more than the commercial aircraft equipment (manufacture of parts and components for aircraft interiors and turbines , etc).

 

For his part, the president of the Aerospace Alliance of Baja California, Víctor Hidalgo, stressed that they are promoting research centers and an innovation and development center for the aerospace industry will be opened this year.
