Nuevo Leon announces the construction of La Gloria-Colombia highway

NUEVO LEON – In order to attract foreign investment and boost the development of the northern border of the state, Nuevo Leon’s governor, Jaime Rodríguez Calderón, announced the beginning of the La Gloria-Colombia highway construction. 

Rodríguez Calderón explained that the construction of the road will have an estimated cost of US$153 million.

In this sense, the Governor stressed that in the next few days he will present to the Local Congress a system to finance the project, which he stated, is supported by President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

"The idea is to announce the start of the project of said construction that has taken place in the north of the State", he said.

In addition, the governor explained that this project will detonate the area adjacent to Puente Colombia and will generate jobs and foreign investment.
