Faurecia will invest US$20 million in Puebla

MEXICO CITY The auto parts company Faurecia announced last thursday an investment in Mexico for more than US$20 million in the state of Puebla in the construction of its new corporate building.

Francisco Maciel, CFO and country lead of Faurecia Mexico, indicated that the company has managed to consolidate its operations "in one of the most dynamic economic regions for the automotive sector."

About the project, which will be located in the commercial area of Lomas de Angelópolis, he stated that “it represents an investment of more than $US20 million and is a clear sign that the company is still committed to Mexico."

According to the manufacturer of seats and interiors of the automotive sector, the project seeks to increase the productive capacities of Faurecia Mexico by concentrating its core functions, while contributing to its regional growth and technological evolution.

The project will house two Research and Development centers, one for interiors division and one for seats.
