US$100 million were invested in Guanajuato

LEÓN  – This Monday the inauguration of the León-Bajío Industrial Park (PILBA) took place, which will be number 29 in Guanajuato. The US$100 million investment is expected to create 5,000 new jobs.

The park is located in an area of 490 hectares and is considered the largest and most modern industrial park in León. Currently eight companies are installed in this complex, including Michelin, Iriso Electronics, Samtech, among others.

"These are not easy times, a change of sexennium always generates uncertainty, because investors are waiting for the policy of the new federal government, fortunately for Guanajuato investments continue to arrive," said Diego Sinhue, governor of Guanajuato.

Some of the inauguration’s attendees were the minister of Sustainable Economic Development, Mauricio Usabiaga Díaz Barriga; the mayor of León, Héctor López Santillana; the director of Operations of Artha Capital and general director of Frontier Industrial, Patricio Gutiérrez Tommasi and the Deputy Miguel Ángel Salim Alle, president of the Commission of Economic and Social Development of the State Congress.
