MEXICO CITY Rappi home delivery company will invest around US$350 million in Mexico in the next two years, said the company's director in the country, Alejandro Solís.

In a press conference, he stated that "Mexico represents about a third of all the volume that Rappi has", hence it is expected to invest that millionaire sum, which coincides with the start of operations in 5 new cities in the country.

Tijuana, Toluca, Hermosillo, Culiacán and Chihuahua are the new cities where Rappi will start its service between the end of August and the beginning of September, Solís announced.

With these new cities, there would be 17 cities in which the company operates in Mexico. However, the manager stressed they expect to close the year announcing operations in more Mexican cities.
