CHIHUAHUA — The city of Chihuahua was recognized as one of the best 5 cities worldwide in terms of investment attraction strategies of the aerospace industry, in the annual report “Cities of the Future 208/19” of the magazine fDi, a publication specialized in global investment. The report places Chihuahua in the 4th position of the strategic cities in aeronautical investment, being the only Mexican city to be in the top five; the other positions are occupied by the cities of Brazil, Canada, the United States and Singapore Strategic information of the Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) indicates that Chihuahua occupies the 3rd place at the national level with the largest number of companies in the aerospace industry; currently the main settled aerospace companies in the entity are Honeywell Aerospace, Bombardier and Cessna.
