NAUCALPAN The first strokes of the Ford Research and Development Technology Center (CTIDIA) can be seen from the Chamapa-Lechería highway and works are expected to be completed on December 1st, 2019. The center was designed by JON International, a team of commercial architects that has developed projects in countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, the United Kingdom and India. The CTIDIA will consist of a campus-type construction with an intelligent building of 41,000 square meters for offices and 20,000 square meters for the product development center. "A large multifaceted scheme was required by Ford to help deliver its next generation of modern car fleet," JON International noted in the design presentation. Ford's new facilities will offer metropolitan, megalopolitan and international relations spaces for information, technology and human capital and will benefit the population with a high educational level and professional capacity that lives in Naucalpan and its neighboring municipalities.
