Faurecia invests US$12 million in San Luis Potosi

SAN LUIS POTOSI — The Faurecia Frames plant in San Luis Potosí celebrated the inauguration of its expansion, three years after the inauguration of the plant. The extension includes manufacturing technologies 4.0 for the manufacture of seats. As a result of this expansion, Faurecia Frames went from 16,000 to 35,000 square meters of capacity; it includes 4.0 manufacturing technologies such as Digital Enterprise, Automatic Guided Vehicles and RFID.  “San Luis Potosí has always opened doors to this company in order to find great talents, which are now developed and potentialized; currently there are 2,500 employees but the expansion will increase a 20% the numbers,” said Plant Manager Javier de la Cruz.  Source: Cluster Industrial
