INDEX and Baja California seek to attract aerospace investments

TIJUANA — The Association of the Maquiladora and Export Industry (INDEX) together with the Aerospace Cluster will exchange efforts to encourage investments through a collaboration agreement.  It was Luis Manuel Hernández González and Tomás Sibaja, presidents of INDEX and the Aerospace Cluster respectively, who led the signing of the agreement that will seek to reinforce the development of projects within the aerospace sector; they pledged to generate updated indicators of the aerospace industry in its different modalities and coordinate relevant activities for participation in international events seeking the attraction of new investments. Said agreement aims as well to promote the integration of the value chain of the aerospace sector of Baja California and attract new investments related to the use of technology, innovation, research centers and related branches.
