AIQ distinguishes itself as hub for cargo flights

QUERETARO— At the close of 2019, the Intercontinental Airport of Queretaro (AIQ) has placed itself in one of the top spots among the country’s airports for registering a great dynamism, and it seeks to place itself like a cargo hub on a national level.

According to a report from the Federal Civil Aviation Agency by October of this year the airport located in the Bajio region, is the third airport with the biggest cargo volume mobilized in the country, only below Mexico City and Guadalajara.

Nowadays, Queretaro transports cargo to more than 12 destinations in Mexico and the United States, mainly transporting manufacturing for the automotive and aerospace industries, as well as for the food sector.
