NASA Scientists to Participate in the First Mexican Aerospace Forum

PUEBLA - The Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) will host the first Mexican Aerospace Forum.

In this event, the UPAEP will receive specialists from NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), who will speak on topics such as water on the Moon, the Artemis and Apollo projects, among others.

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) through the Mexican Space Agency (AEM), announced the event.

The general director of the AEM, Salvador Landeros Ayala, emphasized that the enthusiasm of the country's youth for the space theme has created an unstoppable movement and this forum is proof of that.

This event seeks collaboration between the academic, government and private sectors to promote technological development and the aerospace industry in Mexico.

Charles Galindo, who has a 30-year scientific career at NASA, underscored the relevance of this forum for Mexico and the region.

He explained that in addition to AEM specialists, international guests such as the Japanese Space Agency (JAXA) and the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) will also participate.
