DMG MORI lays the foundation stone for its new headquarters in Querétaro
The German-Japanese firm DMG MORI celebrated the symbolic laying of the first stone of what will be its new headquarters in Mexico, located on Paseo de la República Avenue, in the El Salitre neighborhood of the city of Querétaro.
The choice of this location reflects the strategic importance of the Bajío region, which has established itself as one of the country's main industrial development hubs, especially in the automotive, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
The new facility is shaping up to be a comprehensive center for technological innovation, technical training, and environmental commitment. It will include a showroom with state-of-the-art machinery, spaces for specialized training, exhibition halls, and corporate offices, all designed to international standards of energy efficiency and sustainability.
Among its outstanding features are intelligent lighting systems, rainwater harvesting, and solar panels. With these innovations, the company seeks to obtain international certifications in sustainable construction.
During the ceremony, Masahide Iino, president of DMG MORI Mexico, emphasized that the investment represents a reaffirmation of the company's commitment to the country and to the development of national talent.
“We want to offer better service to our customers and partners, but also contribute to the technical training of local talent. Our vision is to strengthen the country's industrial ecosystem,” he said.
More than just an operational expansion, the new headquarters represents a commitment to the future of the manufacturing industry in Mexico.
