Puerto Verde plans a new commercial bridge Coahuila-Texas

The Puerto Verde border infrastructure project, which involves the construction and operation of a new international commercial bridge for rail and trucking freight between Coahuila and Texas, is making significant progress and is one of the strategic projects included in the Mexican government’s National Infrastructure Plan.
The project includes an international bridge dedicated to commercial freight crossings, both rail and truck, with the purpose of streamlining the movement of goods and strengthening the supply chains that support manufacturing activity in the region.
One of the main benefits of the new crossing will be to help reduce the congestion currently faced by various commercial border ports between the two countries, a situation that directly impacts the competitiveness of supply chains.
Puerto Verde aims to become one of the most significant border projects in northern Mexico in the coming years, helping to improve commercial mobility, strengthen supply chains, and expand trade capacity between Mexico and the United States in a region where bilateral trade continues to grow.
