Aerospace industry drives innovation in Querétaro

The aerospace industry in Querétaro stands out as a driver of technological innovation, as it invests heavily in research that integrates artificial intelligence, composite materials, and sustainable practices, in addition to promoting the development of specialized talent.
This was pointed out by the Secretary of Sustainable Development, Marco Del Prete Tercero, in his presentation “Boosting the aerospace industry through the strategic development of suppliers and financing opportunities in Mexico,” during the opening of Bombardier's Supplier Symposium 2025.
He also emphasized that Querétaro is a different place since Bombardier arrived, as this company has developed the aerospace industry in the state.
Meanwhile, the Canadian ambassador to Mexico, Cameron McKay, noted that the history of Bombardier began in Querétaro 20 years ago, and that the investment has been mutually beneficial for both regions.
He also emphasized Canada's role in the aerospace industry, which is key to strengthening bilateral relations and collaborating on issues such as defense and innovation in the aeronautical sector.
Meanwhile, Bombardier's general manager and director of procurement, Shauna Gamble, pointed out that the first edition of the symposium is full of collaboration, innovation, and sustainable progress, topics that represent opportunities in the industry's ecosystem.
