Aguascalientes in China: Hub for global companies

Aguascalientes has made progress in its strategy to attract international investment with a working tour around China, led by the Secretary of Economic Development, Esau Garza de Vega, who held meetings with companies in the manufacturing and technology sectors interested in expanding their operations in Mexico.

During the tour, Garza held meetings with executives from Xinquan, a company that has established operations in Aguascalientes and is currently exploring new growth opportunities in the state.

As part of the agenda, the executive visited the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), one of Asia’s leading innovation ecosystems, which hosts more than 5,200 projects with foreign investment and the participation of high-profile global companies.

Business models focused on emerging technologies, such as autonomous driving and drone automation, were analyzed—solutions that are expected to drive changes in operational efficiency and supply chain management.

The tour also included an investment seminar organized in collaboration with Banco BASE and Jianxing Mexico, attended by more than 30 companies interested in investing in Mexico, particularly in sectors such as technology and advanced manufacturing.

These initiatives help position Aguascalientes as a competitive destination for high-value industries, particularly in areas such as electromobility, where innovation and specialization will be key drivers of growth.
