Alejandro Cardona Seemann appointed new president of Safran Mexico
MEXICO - Safran, an international group operating in the fields of aeronautics (propulsion, equipment and interiors), space and defense, has announced that Alejandro Cardona Seemann will be its new President and national delegate.
Alejandro Cardona Seemann holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle University in the United States, an MBA from ITAM, Global Management training at ESSEC Paris and advanced training in Defense and Aerospace at Sciences Po in Paris. He started his career in 2012 at Safran as Maintenance Management Officer (MRO) manager in Querétaro and in 2015 he was appointed Head of Military Sales for Latin America in Mexico City.
Between 2017 and 2020, he worked in France in the Defense Division of Safran Electronics & Defense, managing Business Development for various regions. In 2020, he returned to Mexico as Director of Propulsion at Aeromexico. With more than 15 years of experience in propulsion, defense and space, Alejandro has held various commercial positions at Safran.
The company reported that Alejandro Cardona Seemann's goal is to make a lasting contribution to a safer world, where air transportation is increasingly environmentally friendly, more comfortable and accessible.
In Mexico, Safran produces parts for landing gear, engines, cabins, water, waste and evacuation systems, seats and wiring, as well as engine and landing gear maintenance, and has a 34-year track record in Mexico, with 18 plants or offices in four Mexican states.
