Alliuz lays first stone of new industrial park in Jalisco

Alliuz announced the construction of Alliuz Business Park Tonalá, its first expansion project in Jalisco, which will require an investment of US$44 million.
According to the company, the complex will be located on the Periférico Oriente and Camino a El Vado, to the east of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Zone.
It is expected that this project, which will be ready in nine months according to estimates, will boost the development of the region, creating up to 1,500 jobs.
In this regard, Santiago García, commercial director of Alliuz, indicated that the industrial park is an example of the company's commitment to the state.
“Jalisco is a pole for the development of industry and companies. These projects represent the growth of our company,” he said during the groundbreaking ceremony.
He also stated that the new plant will foster collaboration between industrial parks in Mexico and the United States.
The mayor of Tonalá, Sergio Chávez, highlighted that prior to his administration the municipality did not have any business parks.
However, he shared that his administration has bet on industrial development, to attract investment and build projects that take advantage of the location and population.
“It was one of the goals I set, to get investors to see Tonalá as another option to be able to develop the economy. We have achieved it because this is the 12th park that we started hand in hand with investors in three and a half years that we have been in government.”
He also pointed out that at least four out of every 10 pesos invested by the company are invested in the capital city of Jalisco and its surroundings.
“Forty percent of the investments are made in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Zone, betting on innovation, infrastructure and the generation of opportunities that promote the sustainable process of the region.
