PUEBLA – Audi México was named for the third consecutive time, a Socially Responsible Company by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy A.C. (Cemefi) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE)
Audi Mexico has worked in the care of the environment, through initiatives such as Green Energy, which covers the entire electrical requirement with renewable energy from a photovoltaic park located in the north of the country, or the use of anti-hail nets for the protection of manufactured vehicles.
"Since the opening of the Audi Mexico plant, we have set ourselves the task of meeting all the requirements to be a socially responsible company," said Dr. Niels Bosse, vice president of Human Resources and Organization. "We know that the initiatives we carry out as Green Energy or our commitment to society have been the right way to be recognized for three years with this badge," he said.
Audi Mexico seeks closeness to Puebla - the state where its plant is located - permanently, through programs such as Verano Audi, Audi Habita or Girls' Day, in which children from the region learn about the automotive industry, as well as the care for the environment through dynamics and games in the plant facilities.
