Bidding process of landing strip 2 of NAICM begins

The Mexico City's Airport Group (GACM) released the draft call for the construction of the Mexico City's New International Airport's landing strip 2, with an estimated cost of US$800 billion. The bidding, public and international, will include works of preload system and geotechnical instrumentation, infrastructure, floor structure and visual aids, in addition to the tunnels area. All designed by the Netherlands Airport Consultants Firm (NACO). Mexican, German, Brazilian, Chinese and Spanish construction companies showed interest in participating in this bid. The ruling will be disclosed next June 28th and the winner will have a term of 865 days (2.4 years) to conclude the project, with a budget of US$141.6 million for this year.
